So…what’s next?
First of all I want to wish you a very happy new year and let you know that I wish you all the best in 2011 – not just in Forex but in all that you endeavor.
I’ve been struggling to find the most eloquent way to let you know what has happened for me these last 2 months that I’ve taken off. I don’t have one, so I’m just going to lay it on the line.
I had hoped that by taking a break I would miss trading and teaching enough that it would refuel me into the new year and I could pick up where I left off. To be honest, that didn’t happen where forex is concerned. Not only did I not miss trading (not even a little bit) but I found that I felt more balanced and happy without it. That’s a big surprise for me.
I DID miss the teaching. I missed teaching people how to live their lives with intent and focus. I love helping people jump outside of their limitations and view their personal makeup from a new perspective…a perspective that helps them understand themselves and anything they choose to do in life, not just trading.
I don’t know what that means for me yet. I’d love to continue to work with people in a very personal way like that but I haven’t decided how I’m going to do that just yet.
So, for now, I’m doing what I teach my students to do. I’m preparing myself for my next opportunity and keeping my eyes open for it. I’ll jump on it when I see it and I’ll let you know all about it.
I hope 2011 gives you the opportunity you need to be balanced and whole. I hope you take it. I hope you live your life without fear as change approaches and you embrace yourself kindly, warmly and with forgiveness.
Be good to you,
Triffany

Hi,
I was wondering whether you got the email i sent a while back, since then I have had some further ideas on how you could possibly continue teaching, if you wish … obviously from the post it sounds like you are taking a longer break than expected, but I would be happy to share my ideas anyway if you so wish … you can email me if you want me to throw some ideas at you …
Regards,
Aby
Wow!.. this is heavy stuff… its indeed surprising as well that you mentioned that you did not miss trading at all.. wow!
Reading your article shows me that you are indeed a DOer of what you teach us – your students, and that is being good to ourselves, with the strategy you have laid out of waiting and watching for the oppurtunity, am sure it will come round eventually and we will all rejoice with you by the time the ‘new you’ comes!
thank you for being honest with us.
To everything…. there is a season…
Thanks for the update and the email Triffany.
I did get the sense late last year that perhaps your passion and drive wasn’t as strong as it once was and truly hoped that the time away would be perfect … and it *was* !!
You had some personal things come up as well which would have put everything in perspective for you. Sounds like you’re ready for a new path now, and your heart/intuition knows that too.
I’m very grateful to have been introduced to your unique holistic view of trading, and deeply enjoyed your articles and WLWs. It’s definitely made an influence on me and I’ll continue to apply it and come back to it.
I know when you’re ready, and emerge from this cocoon, your transformation/next opportunity will be just what you need and just as amazing as the last.
All the best!
