Hi Triff,

The week was perfect! Volatile, yes, but very instructional, in training nimbleness! Overall, I traded small lots, the pairs that I know, relaxed and enjoyed. Last night, New Year's eve, was a good omen - dinner with friends; full moon on New Years Eve (happens every 19 years) and great midnight fireworks. However, before leaving for the evening, I entered several small positions with rather short TPs..... They clicked in successfully -so when I got home and tallied the week, 2.4% overall gain for the week. Far below my weekly target, but great for a short week full of "switchbacks". Cheers

This market is very volatile but good training for nimbleness. I have been practicing setting targets to buy and to sell..... set the entry or exit and watch. Surprising how many places it works using what Triffany calls "Important levels" as entry or exit prices. I set a price to sell my long USDJPY, cut it short, then entered a re entry long at 92.365. At the moment it looks good. Happy New Year Triff

Hi nobody! I am having fun playing EURJPY, GBPUSD, and NZDJPY back and forth..... tight SL and TPs. Actually, it is quite profitable and with small positions, I just wait it out for a workout. Try it with small positions..... Play the 1 and 4 hour, drilling down to the lower ranges for execution. No hurry on these.
