CADJPY Long

13

I’m in the CADJPY, SL at 80.90, PT at 83.75.  I’ll watch price action around 82.85 though in case the market looks fearful there.

GBPJPY hasn’t triggered yet, but I hope I’m here when it does.  I think that will be a good trade.

What are you watching/trading today?

YEA Jeremy!!! “I’m backtesting” are my two favorite words out of a student!! I can’t wait to hear your results!

If you ever want me to look them over with/for you I’ll be happy to help. :)

Jeffrey, that GBPUSD is looking really good to the correction side. I like that it has actually bounced up off of the TL we looked at this morning.

Im looking at your long of CADJPY and can not see it at all. I see a rising pennnant in a falling market on all charts 4hrs and below so my thoughts are of shorting any breakdown. What is it you see?

We talked about tiring trends and time for retracement on a lot of the pairs in the Watchlist Webinar this morning. Did you catch it or the archive?

There’s some decent profit in this trade right now and I’ve got multiple positions on. I’m going to tighten my stop, on all my positions, pretty severely to 82.50

just wonder if it is possible to have a bell, or signal of some kind to notify users of a posting? If so, how is it connected please

Hey Triffany! That was a crazy good trade on cad.jpy . . . certainly was ready to move when you entered! I entered Chf.Jpy short @ 87; and went long today on Gbp @ 15868. Hoping to get a retrace entry into Gbp.Jpy long. Also watching euro.cad for short on a retrace into bearish price action on Dly.

  10. JerryN says:

what chfhpy short…. I got no signal.

  11. GailS says:

Jerry, sorry for the confusion, that’s a trade I entered on my own, not one Triffany had a watch on.

  12. Triffany says:

Gail, I’m not watching the chf/jpy or the eur/cad, but I sure hope those work out for you. The Eur/Cad can be a fantastic mover and get you in and out of trades quickly. I hope yours work out…please keep us updated. :)

Hi Triffany, thanks for your updates – e-mails working fine. I note that the CADJPY has now retraced to the bottom of the 4 hr S Box and is also Hidden Divergent on 9,5,5 stoch for a short setup. My entry would be around 82.30, stops above 83.30 area and initial target of 80.70 and move to break even. There is also today’s DPP at 81.93 and has yet to be hit. Of course it could continue to retrace up and thus negate this plan. Lot’s of similar setups of 4 hr HD across the board both short (GBPJPY,GBPUSD< GBPCHF) and long EURGBP. I am currently short 1 hr EURUSD HD setup with 2 positions take off, 1 remaining with a trailing stop at break even. USDCAD 1 hr S Box plus HD short setting up, but of course this is a tricky pair. I am waiting to pounce but won't enter any of these trades until I'm sure momentum is on my side and an identifed support or resistance level is clearly broken. Hope your son has a good Camp!
