Whoever was long GBPCHF witnessed a 145 PIP plus vacuum drop in 15 minutes when the US was sleeping… Now it has corrected with an anemic 50 PIPs or so…… Minutes before the crash it appeared ready to emerge above the box range around the 800

Now what, indeed! It really held to its consolidation area. With a fresh ‘wild swing’ I’m watching for a bounce, but if “RISK” remains the word of the day, I’ll take a break, too.
That puppy is 9 days away from the 800 SMA on the 1 hour chart…. 4700 PIPs compared to an average of 255. I am willing to venture a little long…. with stop at 1.71540 – why not?
I don’t know how many trade yards it took to bring gbpchf down 145 PIPs in about 15 minutes…. but a lot…. who? the Swiss CB?
Maybe GBP Manufacture PMI ??
Looks like the close of last hour was the trigger candle for a long.
But going for the secondary high of the consolidation area w/ a stop below the lows gives about a 50 pip gain to an 85 pip risk.
I don’t care for it too much right now.
Everything today did the opposite of what I thought it would do today! EURUSD and USDJPY dumped instead of bounced. And the GBPCHF didn’t fire off a decent trade for me.
Ugh. What is WITH the market these last couple weeks?!
