Watchlist for Sunday, November 1st, 2009

2

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend (and if you celebrate Halloween I hope it was tons of fun).

Here’s today’s watchlist:

Pair Daily 4h 1h
CADJPY Still filling out the triangle Consolidating around the 800sma & bullish divergent. Large, impulsive moves due for a correction to 84.85, or a bounce off of the daily trendline could mean more room to go short, (though fundamentally I hold a bias long)
EURJPY Still stuck in its consolidation range Consolidating around the 800sma. Consolidating around the 800sma
EURUSD Retested the daily TL Creating a double bottom against the daily TL? Consolidating around the 800sma
GBPCHF H/S playing out Headed back to the 800sma Long above 1.69, short below 1.68
GBPJPY What the Fed?  Kind of stuck in a muddy area Consolidating around the 800sma Has the feel of being ready to go long…but no real setup there.
GBPUSD Bouncing along significant resistance Hidden bearish divergence So much indecision here… both when the market chose the long side and the short side.  Yuck.
NZDUSD Retested the daily TL Creating a double bottom against the daily TL?  Bullish divergence as well. Consolidating around the 800sma
USDCAD Retested the bottom of the 800 consolidation area and looks ready to go short again Triple bearish divergence Short below 1.08, or long on a bounce off of that level.
USDCHF Creating an upside down H/S? Stuck in a muddy area Consolidating around the 800sma
USDJPY Creating an upside down H/S? About to trigger a regular H/S? Consolidating around the 800sma.  Too many conflicting signals on this, no wonder the jpy pairs are such a mess.

Here’s the downloadable version.

Here’s the link for November’s WLW, I’ll also update the link in the sidebar so you can have it there anytime you want.

Be good to yourselves,

Wow this week there are more bank statements and major reports than i eat calories ! So the plan is to draw a box round all the currencies and a close outside any box is a trade … does that work for everyone ?
