Forex Tester Tools
Some helpful tools for using Forex Tester 2:
- Archive of the FXStreet hosted webinar
- PowerPoint presentation of the FXStreet hosted webinar
- Testing Analysis Spreadsheet for the Mac (On its way)
- Testing Analysis Spreadsheet for the PC (Still a work in progress)
- Quick Video on using the Testing Analysis Spreadsheet (On its way)
It is my goal to have all of these tools available before the end of the week. You can check back from time to time or, if you’re a member of TrifFX.com, you can leave a comment and check the ‘subscribe to comments’ section to receive notice when comments are added to the posting. I will leave a comment every time I update this post, so that you can be notified. (Every time another user posts a comment you’ll receive notice of that too.)
Be good to you!

Just wondering any time-line as to when # Testing Analysis Spreadsheet for the PC will be available?
Oh crud! I let that slide…thanks for the reminder. I’ll work on it again this week. I have the Mac one finished, but will have to make the translations to Excel. Arg…they’re just different enough to be a pain.
Not trying to rush you, just wondering any idea when the Testing Analysis Spreadsheet for the PC will be available?
I didn’t forget about you, and I did try to finish so that what I gave you had everything I wanted in it.
I’m no Excel expert so I’m sure there are lots of ways to improve this – the problem is that ForexTester formats the date data string with periods, instead of slashes. Excel doesn’t want to recognize it has a date/time data string. I’m sure there is a way to force it, but I can’t seem to figure it out.
SO…that being said you can download the version I have now…there is a lot of good information in there. You’ll export your history to an Excel file and then copy and paste the data into the first tab.
Let me know what you think! If you know how to fix it…let me know that too!
Thanks for your patience!!!!
